Director of Touring & Automobile Club of Iran Ebadreza Eslami said the country is scheduled to attend the 36th edition of FITUR, the International Tourism Trade Fair in Spain as well as Malaysia travel MATTA Fair in 2015.
He also noted that the Tourism & Automobile Club of Iran has so far issued license for the setting up of 10 representative tourist information centers abroad, adding the club will be holding a joint gathering in coming October with those representatives.
He also added that a number of handicrafts forums will soon open in Milan, Venice, Rome and other cultural-historical cities in Europe.
FITUR is a global meeting point for tourism professionals and the leading trade fair for inbound and outbound Ibero American markets in Spain. In 2015, some 9000 exhibiting companies from 165 countries or regions, 125,000 trade participants and 97,000 people from the general public, met during FITUR. FITUR celebrates its 36th staging from February 20 to February 24, 2016.
Matta Fair is a 3 day event being held from 4 September to 6 September 2015 at the Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This event showcases product from packaging materials, travel & tourism, business services, and exhibition industries.
